What’s it about?
Discovering what the Bible actually teaches about Israel, and why it matters to you.
For centuries, Christians have wrestled with one of Scripture's most debated questions: Who is Israel, and what becomes of God's promises to them?
From Genesis to Revelation, this book follows the biblical story on its own terms, tracing the people, promises, and covenant purposes of God through the unfolding drama of redemption.
Rather than beginning with modern assumptions or theological systems, it returns to the text itself, allowing Scripture to define its own categories.
Along the way, you'll discover why the identity of Israel is far more than an abstract theological debate—it shapes how we understand Christ, the Church, God's promises, and our own place within His redemptive story.
Whether you're exploring this topic for the first time or revisiting long-held convictions, this journey invites you to follow the Bible's single unfolding narrative wherever it leads.

Who’s writing
And, more importantly, why this book exists.
Marcus Tatum is a Bible teacher, author, and theological writer with more than seven years of experience helping Christians understand Scripture through a Christ-centered, biblical-theological lens. He has authored more than five books and discipleship resources, contributed theological articles to The Christian Post, and received theological training through Gateway Theological Institute (EFCA).
His interest in the identity of Israel began not as an academic pursuit, but through a question raised by a trusted friend and mentor that challenged assumptions he had carried for years. Determined to follow the biblical evidence wherever it led, Marcus immersed himself in the study of Scripture's covenants, promises, and overarching story from Genesis to Revelation. What he discovered was not merely an alternative theological framework, but a richer vision of God's redemptive plan centered on Christ.
Along the way, he realized that there weren't many resources representing this perspective, and those that did exist were inaccessible to everyday Christians. Israel, My Inheritance was written to bridge that gap—offering a thoughtful, Scripture-first exploration that is both theologically substantial and accessible to pastors, students, and everyday believers alike.
